Looking at employment stability in other state job markets using data dating to 1990, Utah is the nation’s most stable job market.Next comes California nemesis Texas, then North Dakota, South Dakota, Idaho and Montana. One person was killed in a hit-and-run collision early Wednesday morning on the busy street of El Camino Real in South San Francisco, according to authorities.Police were alerted of the incident at 1:06 a.m. The victim was attempting to walk across southbound lanes of traffic on the 1500 block of El Camino Real when they were struck by an unknown vehicle. Police say the driver left the scene.The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver early Wednesday morning in South San Francisco, SSFPD reported. Police said the victim was trying to walk across southbound lanes of El Camino Real.Police responded to the call just after 1 a.m. on the 1500 block of El Camino Real. The driver fled and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to South San Francisco police. A 2-year-old boy is dead after being attacked by a dog in Frederick County, Maryland, on Tuesday evening.The boy had played with the dog all day on Tuesday in Brunswick, Maryland, but as he and his family were leaving a relative’s home, the dog attacked him, police told WTOP.The dog is a pit bull and mastiff mix, and is now being held in quarantine.More Frederick County NewsMore Local NewsWhen police arrived at the home in the 400 block of West B Street at around 5:15 p.m., they found the boy suffering from a dog bite.
