A package of tax and fee increases that would dedicate billions of dollars in new funding to transportation projects across the state is headed to the Minnesota House floor for a final vote in that chamberThe bill would impose a 75-cent fee for delivery of taxable merchandise to homes and businesses, increase metro area sales taxes by 0.75% for transit projects, boost motor vehicle license tab fees for roads and bridges and hike vehicle sales taxes.The House Ways and Means Committee approved the bill Wednesday on a voice vote with most Democrats voting for it and Republicans voting “no. BENNINGTON, Vt. (NEWS10) -- The Bennington Police Department arrested a suspect who stole approximately $220 from the Subway Restaurant at 277 North Street on Tuesday night. The robbery occurred around 9:40 p.m. Cameron allegedly demanded money and threatened to shoot a Subway employee. LOUIS - A St. Louis County man appeared in federal court on Wednesday and admitted possessing tens of thousands of videos and images containing child pornography.Prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Missouri said Christopher Cotton, 32, pleaded guilty to one count of receiving child pornography.Cotton admitted uploading illicit material to DropBox, which triggered a report to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.The NCMEC contacted local law enforcement, who launched an investigation and obtained a search warrant for Cotton's home. 31-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Fiery Single-Vehicle Crash near Roxbury RoadWEST HOLLYWOOD, CA (April 12, 2023) – Early Monday morning, Monica Hyun Mi Suh was killed in a fiery collision on Sunset Boulevard.Authorities responded to the scene around 2:32 a.m., at the 8200 block of Sunset Boulevard near Roxbury Road.Per reports, the driver of a Tesla X lost control and crashed into the center median, a metal lamp post and a tree.
